In the end, experience has taught me personally that the more things I know, the better service I can provide to my customers, and that’s why I actively read, take part or organize events about a great variety of topics. Amazingly enough, sooner or later, most of these activities end up adding value to my projects.
It probably makes sense because our knowledge in project portfolio management is not something that we can use in a bubble, far from the world. It will always be applied to a particular area or purpose. Therefore, the more areas we feel comfortable in, the better service we can provide to our customers.
